Although the Timeline graphic provides a brief historical overview of the Mitchell and Lewis family businesses, there is a lot more to the story than just those bit-sized facts.
On this website, the history of the Mitchell vehicles, from the wagons to the motorcycles to the automobiles is divided into four distinct sections: Pre-1900s, 1900-1916, Post 1916, and Mitchell Today. With the history broken up in this fashion, we can discuss the story of the Mitchell vehicle more closely and witness the various eras and metamorphoses that the Mitchell and Lewis companies took throughout their legacy.
